This privacy policy is provided to you by CBS Systems DOO (referred to as “we”, “us” or “CBS”).

This policy describes what information we collect and how we use that information. If you have questions about this privacy policy, please email as us at [email protected]. When we refer to “Contact Information” we mean information like your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. “Personal Nonpublic Information” refers to personally identifiable information about you and transactions in your CBS account, including information about your transactions.

It’s Your Data?

Every piece of data you integrate into CBS solutions is private to your organization. CBS will never own your data. We won’t copy, share, or modify your data without your consent. We will never access your data without your consent.

Will CBS share my information?

CBS does not rent or sell information about its customers and we will only share your information under limited circumstances and always under strict controls against further disclosure. We will share your Contact Information and Personal Nonpublic Information with affiliated and unaffiliated third parties that perform services for us or for you, for example, third parties engaged in managing your CBS Account, completing money transfers and other transactions, vendors who assist us in offering related services, and others who assist us in sending communications to you. We require these third parties to keep your information confidential and we prohibit them from using your information for their own purposes.

We may invite you to participate in promotions and special offers offered directly by CBS or through specially selected third parties. Promotion materials will describe whether your participation in a promotion or offer will require us to gather and share your personal information with the sponsor or whether you will be asked to provide additional personal information directly to the sponsor. Participation in such programs is voluntary and such third parties are bound to maintain the confidentiality of, and not misuse, any personal information received from your or us.

In addition to the above, we may disclose Contact Information and Personal Nonpublic Information to unaffiliated third parties when one of the following circumstances exists:

  • Where necessary for security purposes, to protect against fraud or unauthorized transactions, to resolve customer disputes or inquiries, or to respond to requests from persons who are acting in a fiduciary or representative capacity for you, or who hold a legal or beneficial interest in your account;
  • To perform necessary credit checks or collect or report on debts owed to us; or
  • As permitted by applicable law, including in response to legal process or requests from government authorities.
  • Finally, in the event CBS or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

If you close your account with us, we will retain information about you and your account in an “inactive” status and we will continue to manage your Contact Information and Personal Nonpublic information as described herein.

Security

CBS takes the security of information very seriously and has established physical and electronic security standards and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to customer information. We use industry standard means such as physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, including data encryption and secure socket layer technology. We update and test our technology regularly to maintain and improve the protection of our customers’ information. We restrict access to personal information to employees and service providers for legitimate business purposes to assist in providing services to you. Employees who violate our privacy policy are subject to disciplinary action.
